The North Central Railway (NCR) Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has announced that it is employing Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961 for various divisions and workshops in Prayagraj, Jhansi, Agra, and Jhansi Workshop. A total of 1,679 positions are open in various trades, such as electrician, fitter, welder, carpenter, and more.
For the RRC NCR Apprentice Recruitment, applications will be accepted from September 16, 2024, to October 15, 2024.In addition to holding an ITI certificate in the pertinent trade, eligible candidates must have passed the 10th grade exam with at least 50% of the possible points. Merit, as determined by averaging the scores from the ITI and matriculation tests, will be the basis for selection.

RRC Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification
The minimum cumulative grade required for candidates is a passing grade of 50% in Matriculation (10th Class) or its equivalent. It is also necessary to have an ITI certificate linked to NCVT/SCVT in the relevant trade.
Age Limit
Candidates must be between the ages of 15 and 24 as of October 15, 2024. For reserved categories, there is an age relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
- Ex-servicemen: As per government rules
Registration Fee
The application fees are charged as per the category.
- General/OBC category: ₹100
- SC/ST/PwD/Women category: Nil
Salary
Stipends will be awarded to selected apprentices in accordance with the policies set forth by the relevant state government.
