Educational Qualification 2025
A full-time B.E./B.Tech. degree in one of the following fields from an accredited university or institution is required of candidates:
- Civil engineering
- The field of mechanical engineering
- The field of Electrical Engineering
- Engineering for electronics and telecommunications
Age Limit 2025 (as of 01.01.2025)
The applicant must be at least 21 years old, with a maximum age of 30 years. The applicants’ birth dates must fall between January 2, 1995, and January 1, 2004.
Application Fee
The UPSC ESE Exam 2025 application process requires UR, OBC, and EWS candidates to submit an application fee of Rs. 200. SC, ST, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and female candidates are exempt from this price.

UPSC ESE 2025 Salary
A competitive remuneration structure as per Level 10 will be awarded to candidates who pass the Engineering Services Examination and are chosen for the position of IES Officer (Grade A).
The pay scale is as follows: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500/-per month. Candidates will get various benefits and allowances in addition to their base wage, according to government norms.
